Fabian Picardo Fabian has served as Chief Minister of Gibraltar since 2011. He took his law degree from Oxford University. Although his early career involved human rights and litigation work, up to the European Court of Human Rights, he practiced as a commercial lawyer and has been involved in one of the largest real property transactions in the EU. Ministerial Responsibilities: - The Economy and Finance, Gibraltar 2025 - Personal status including immigration, residence and adoption - International Treaties (including transposition of directives) - Elections - Industrial Relations - The Civil Service and the Public Sector as a whole - Customs - Chairman, inter-ministerial committee on the prevention of drugs misuse and rehabilitation - The administration of Government Departments charged with the aforesaid - Overall responsibility for and supervision of Government departments and public administration

John Cortes John Cortes is the Minister for the Environment, Energy, Climate Change and Education. He qualified in ecology in London and gained his doctorate in Oxford. He has been General Secretary of GONHS since 1976, General Manager of the old St Bernard’s Hospital between 1988 – 1991 and was a member of the Board of the GHA between 1992 and 2007. Gilbert has been a member of the GSLP for over 20 years. Joe Bossano Joe is the Minister for Economic Development, Telecommunications and the Gibraltar Savings Bank. He was first elected to the then House of Assembly in 1972. He has served as Chief Minister from 1988 to 1996 and as Leader of the Opposition from 1984 to 1988 and from 1996 to April 2011. Joe was Branch Officer of the TGWU until he became Chief Minister. Samantha Sacramento Sam has served as Minister for Housing and Equality. She is a third generation GSLP member. Her areas of legal practice include general civil and criminal litigation with an emphasis on matrimonial and family matters, trust disputes, human rights and employment law. Samantha was part of the legal team at the Commission for Racial Equality office in Cardiff. Ministerial Responsibilities:  - Housing - Housing Works Agency - Development of affordable, co-ownership estates - Equality and minorities - Civic Rights - Citizen’s Advice - Ombudsman - Consumer Affairs and Protection - Data Protection - Health and Safety - The control of drugs misuse including substance abuse, rehabilitation and responsibility for Bruce’s Farm

Sam has served as Minister for Housing and Equality. She is a third generation GSLP member. Her areas of legal practice include general civil and criminal litigation with an emphasis on matrimonial and family matters, trust disputes, human rights and employment law. Samantha was part of the legal team at the Commission for Racial Equality office in Cardiff.

Paul Balban Paul had served as Minister for Transport, Traffic and Technical Services. He is a well known State Registered Dietitian. He read Nutrition & Food Science at Oxford Brookes University completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics at King’s College, London. He was trained at a number of British Hospitals. Paul has also been the proud driver of a Taxi. He is a Barrister and Senior Partner at one of Gibraltar’s leading law firms where he led the Financial Services and Commercial Property teams.
