We are monitoring the situation of the fire in Spain.
Currently we are detecting no concerns with the air quality in Gibraltar and we expect the majority of the plume of smoke to head in a northerly direction.
As a precautionary measure we would advise anyone who has a long term lung condition such as severe asthma to remain in doors where possible.
