The Gibraltar Hockey Association are currently competing in both the Women’s and Men’s National EuroHockey Championships III.
Both Women and Men’s national squads have undergone an intense training program to prepare themselves well and proudly represent Gibraltar in these two National European Competitions.
The Gibraltar Hockey Women have travelled to Croatia under the leadership of Coach Christian Zammit and Manager Rosanne Torrilla. They will be facing Croatia, Switzerland, and Turkey in this European Cup Competition.
The Gibraltar Hockey Men’s Side, have already arrived in Poland and will be playing against Croatia, Lithuania, Malta and Poland under the leadership of Coach Kevin Casciaro, Manager Diana Soussi Avellano and Assistant Coach Adrian Bado.
Two local international umpires, Zamara Espinosa, who will also be travelling to Croatia, and Sam Howard who will be travelling to Poland will be taking part in the Women’s and Men’s Tournament respectively.
The Minister of Sport, the Hon Steven Linares and the GSLA wish the players, Coaches and Umpires all the very best in their tournaments.
