Gibraltar National Book Council member, author Jonathan Pizarro, will be delivering an online writing workshop encouraging writers to write about Gibraltar. ‘Writing Home’ will put the spotlight on Gibraltar as a fascinating place full of stories. The writer believes that the Rock is often overlooked or misrepresented in literature and appreciates it can also be a challenge to write about its unique geography, culture and language.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday 28th June between 7-9pm (Gibraltar Time). You can join Jonathan for this free online fiction-writing workshop, where for two hours you will:
– Have time and space to write in a supportive environment
– Meet other writers
– Participate in creative writing activities
– Have an opportunity to listen and discuss ideas around how to write about home
The workshop is open to everyone, whether you’re completely new to writing, or a seasoned writer looking for inspiration. Places are limited and booking essential.
